ASUS today announced the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000, ASUS RT-BE86U, and ROG USB-BE92 at Gamescom 2024. These three devices demonstrate ASUS’ commitment to delivering a range of robust, reliable, and high-performance Wi-Fi 7 products. These three products offer demanding digital homes and offices, as well as networking enthusiasts and gamers, exceptional range, throughput, and low latency, ensuring exceptional wired and wireless connectivity. Additionally, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 together with the latest Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 network card are being showcased in a dedicated section at the ASUS booth at Gamescom 2024, where attendees can see how these two next-generation devices work ideally to deliver a high-performance Gigabit+ network experience.
Wi-Fi 7 functionality is coming to Windows 11 later this year, and the new ROG GT-BE19000 can unleash Wi-Fi 7 gaming experiences with up to 2.4x faster speeds and up to 73% greater coverage. Its ROG Gaming Network feature utilizes Guest Network Pro to deliver a dedicated gaming network SSID and VLAN with full game acceleration technology. Meanwhile, the new ASUS RT-BE86U delivers up to 20Gbps of wired capacity – three times that of the RT-AX86U – with 30% more CPU power and rich Ethernet backhaul options to create an expandable, feature-packed AiMesh network. And the ROG USB-BE92 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 USB adapter supports both USB Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 1 x1 Type-C connections, giving users access to the open 6GHz band for low-interference networks.
The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 gaming router features ultrafast Wi-Fi 7 with 320MHz channels on the 6GHz band with Multi-Link operation and 4096-QAM to boost network capacity and throughput, delivering speeds of up to 19Gbps. It offers versatile WAN options, including AI-powered WAN detection on its 2.5G or 10G Ethernet ports, and supports 4G LTE and 5G mobile tethering via USB.
With Guest Network Pro, users can easily manage up to five SSIDs, configure IoT devices, and set up VPNs and parental controls. Guest Network Pro technology also includes a gaming network setup designed for next-generation experiences that combine all gaming features into a single SSID and VLAN. Gamers can also take advantage of triple-level gaming acceleration, which prioritizes gaming data packets for an enhanced experience from the gaming device to the game server, while AiProtection Pro, powered by Trend Micro, ensures robust security.
