Bitpanda Technology Solutions has partnered with Coinmotion, a leading cryptocurrency broker based in Finland, to offer over 400 digital assets to Nordic users, Bitpanda shared in an announcement on Wednesday.

The collaboration aims to enable Coinmotion users to access a wider range of digital assets through its existing app. The company hopes that the enhanced cryptocurrency offerings will help boost user experience and revenue.

“This partnership allows Coinmotion to offer the widest selection of cryptocurrencies in the Nordic region, reflecting our mutual dedication to innovation, the future of digital assets and, most importantly, user security,” said Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad, CEO of Bitpanda Technology Solutions.

Both companies share a commitment to innovation and ensuring the security of their users. Enzersdorfer-Konrad added that Bitpanda’s technology platform has made it easier for Coinmotion to expand its offering, including trading and custody services.

Discussing the partnership, Antti-Jussi Suominen, CEO of Coinmotion, said that Bitpanda’s technology will enable Coinmotion to quickly and securely scale its cryptocurrency offerings.

“With Bitpanda’s technology and support, we can quickly and securely scale our offering to over 400 cryptocurrencies and continue to provide value to our customers through our easy-to-use app and excellent customer service,” said Suominen.

The Nordic region has seen growth in cryptocurrency ownership and participation. An April report study A study by K33 Research and EY shows that approximately 1.5 million people in the Nordic countries own cryptocurrencies, representing around 7% of the adult population.

The trend is particularly strong among younger generations, with over 70% of cryptocurrency owners under the age of 40. The survey projects that the number of cryptocurrency owners in the Nordic countries could reach 4.6 million in the next decade.
