Core Ultra 7 265KF and Core Ultra 5 245K on Geekbench

The Ryzen 9000 is now available and You'll know what we mean from our tests.Intel is going to respond by trying to turn things around (and make us forget about certain shortcomings). For the moment, Arrow Lake is keeping a low profile, Intel is getting very excited about its ultra-mobile Lunar Lake solution, but the upcoming desktop CPUs are keeping a low profile. However, Arrow Lake-S processors under the name Core Ultra 200 are expected from October. However, we do have an interesting leak of results for the upcoming Core Ultra 7 265KF and Core Ultra 5 245K. Despite all this, it is difficult to get a rough idea of the potential of Intel's next-generation processors.

Intel Arrow lake-S LGA-1851 socket

He Ultra 7 265KF Core Therefore, it was put to the test in Geekbench 6 The result was a processor with 8 performance cores and 12 efficiency cores (i.e. 20 threads, as Arrow Lake no longer supports hyper-threading), powered by a Gigabyte Z890 Aero G. The boy scored 3219 points in the single-core test and 19,433 in the multi-core test in Geekbench 6. This puts it ahead of the Core i9-14900K in the single-core test, but just behind the new Ryzen 9000. In the multi-core benchmark, it sits on par with the Core i7-14700K and is barely slower than the Ryzen 9 9900X with 24 threads.

As for the Ultra 5 245K Core As for the GPU, Geekbench 5 would have been the ideal place to take a look, which makes it harder to form an opinion. VideoCardz has published a table with comparison values in which the newcomer is almost on par with the Core i9-13900K and outperforms the Core i5-14600K in multi-core… Take this with a grain of salt.

It's hard to decide at the moment. Some rumors point to a very close duel with the new Ryzen 9000. If so, Intel would quickly find itself in trouble with the arrival of the X3D versions of the reds. But in reality, there are too many uncertainties at the moment and everything points to us having to wait until October, when Intel officially launches the Core Ultra 200 on the new LGA1851 socket.
