“Find the last letter in four tries when there are five (or more) possible answers” isn't my favorite type of Wordle, but that's what I had to deal with today. I'm glad I got there before I reached the end of the board, but I can't help but look at all the words I attempted and see myself just one finger's length away from a quicker victory each time.

Learn more about Wordle
Wordle offers you six rows of five boxes each day and you have to figure out what secret five-letter word is hidden inside to keep your winning streak going.
Ought Start with a strong word like ARISE, or any other word that contains a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels. You’ll also want to avoid starting words with repeated letters, as you’re wasting the opportunity to remove or confirm an extra letter. Once you hit Enter, you’ll see which ones you got right or wrong. If a box turns into a ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, just not in that position. 🟩 means you have the right letter in the right place.
You'll want your next guess to complement the first, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time and also trying to avoid any letters you now know for certain aren't present in today's answer. After that, it's simply a case of using what you've learned to narrow down your guesses to the correct word. You have six attempts in total and can only use real words and don't forget that letters can be repeated too (eg: BOOKS).
