Doja Cat is extremely angry at Fortnite 'losers' who use 'stupid fucking non-weapons' instead of having 'real aiming skills and FPS experience'

Doja Cat is not just an award-winning singer and rapper. She is also a gamer, specifically a Fortnite fan. And like many dedicated fans of hers, she has some pretty strong feelings about particular aspects, which she recently shared on her very lively Twitter account.

Let's dive right into it.

“FORTNITE WOULD NOT BE SO FUCKING EMBARRASSING IF THEY CREATED LOBBIES WHERE PEOPLE WITH REAL AIMING SKILLS AND FPS EXPERIENCE WON'T DEAL WITH LOSERS USING WATER BENDS AND HADES CHAINS.”

Chains of Hades is an epic melee weapon introduced in the ongoing Chapter 5 Season 2 of Fortnite that deals multi-stage damage to enemies and can also be used to pull items and other players towards the user. By all reports (including the one above), it's pretty OP. Water Bending is a mythical item that allows users to fire powerful ice projectiles at other players and also has a healing ability.

Water bending is also, according to Doja Cat,

“A DAMN CRUTCH, YOU'RE NOT GOOD AT THE GAME BECAUSE OF THE WATER BENDING, I WOULD BE VERY DEPRESSED IF I HAD TO RELY ON ANY OF THESE STUPID NON-FUCKING WEAPONS.”

Somewhat strangely, another couple of tweets have been deleted in which Doja Cat recommended that Epic remove Chains of Hades from Fortnite because the people who use them are, let me see here… oh yeah, “dumb pussies.” Maybe he decided the language was a little salty.

At any event.

I don't know if he's right or wrong, nor am I clear what kind of authority he brings to the table when it comes to game design: to be completely honest, until today I assumed that Doja Cat was some kind of anime nonsense. But how eurogamer notes, his Fortnite bona fides are legitimate. Clips of her music appear in the game, and she references them in her song Agora Hills, singing: “We fuck too good when the bean kicks in, like Fortnite, I need your skin.”

Well then.

Doja Cat's assessment seems to have sparked a debate: many people seem to agree with her assessment, but others disagree, saying that water bending in particular requires skill (just a different kind of skill) to use effectively. The market of ideas in action! Or whatever is going on here:

For the record, Doja Cat doesn't disagree with all the new Mythic items in the current Fortnite season. In response to a complaint about Zeus's Thunderbolt, she tweeted“Lightning is fine,” and she agrees with him Icarus wings also.
