Deadlock Players have discovered a new hero in development named Slork, who looks like he's half-man, half-shark, or possibly just a guy wearing a weird skeletal shark costume.
He Intel deadlock On Twitter, Slork was described as “super unfinished,” but a rundown of his abilities as they currently stand was given. Riptide causes enemies to bounce into the air with the bonus of bouncing off walls for added chaos. Deep's Embrace appears to be a sort of water shield, and Ambush Predator makes Slork briefly invisible and faster for a few seconds before finishing with an attack. Chomp is pretty self-explanatory.

You can get a slightly more descriptive look at the character in action (again, in a very unfinished state) in this Mon Facts YouTube video.
Some observant followers also noted Slork's physical similarity to Alarcona Dota 2 character with a stealth-like approach to gameplay. Redditor tgiyb1 He said on the Deadlock subreddit that Slork “appears to be pretty much Dota's Slark, but with permanent invisibility tied to his ultimate (he also gains massive passive HP regen while invisible, similar to Slark's ultimate).” Given that and the name, I wouldn't be surprised to see some connective tissue between the two in Deadlock's story, assuming Slork ends up being a full, released character – something that's never a sure thing when it comes to Valve.
While it's true that we don't know much about Slork at the moment, it has inspired considerable conversation here in the hallowed halls of PC Gamer:
Things went on like this for a while.
I mean one long while.
We have no idea when Slork might officially appear in Deadlock, but until then you can access Slork yourself by pressing F7 in sandbox mode to access the command console and then entering “selecthero hero_slork,” without the quotes. May Slork watch over you all.
Vagrancy.
