Hey everyone! I’m Shaun “Unconkable” Rivera, Game Director of 2XKO. 2XKO is our brand new free-to-play team-based fighting game featuring League of Legends champions, coming in 2025. Fight solo or with a friend in intense 2v2 battles and master powerful abilities, assists, and combos to outplay enemies.
Our team is led by Evolution Founders Tom and Tony Cannon here at Riot Games, the studio behind League of Legends and Valorant, are comprised of developers with deep connections to the fighting game community, including former professional players, creators, and tournament organizers.
2XKO is currently in development. We just revealed a new champion and announced Alpha Lab, the first home playtest. Register for a chance to play starting August 8th.
Meet Braum, the heart of Freljord
2XKO’s newest playable character is Braum, a beloved hero with powerful biceps and an even bigger heart. He joins the previously announced roster of revamped League of Legends champions, which includes Ahri, Yasuo, Ekko, Darius, and Illaoi.
Since 2v2 combat and playing with friends are the foundation of 2XKO’s gameplay, the team was eager to design a champion who could excel as a support character. Braum’s protective abilities make any duo partner shine.

Braum's design is centered around his massive shield, which was once the unbreakable door to an ancient treasure vault. With it, he protects allies from incoming damage. Braum excels at interrupting opponents and blocking their attacks, giving his team room to pull off devastating combos.
Defense is key to Braum's game design, but he still has strong offensive options. He gains a unique buff called Unbreakable when he casts certain skills, which covers Braum's shield in ice and makes his special moves deal more damage.
His kit also incorporates a unique freeze mechanic in 2XKO. By activating his shield magic, Braum can gain additional armor and stop opponents.

Braum's warm and contagious personality has fostered his friendship with the poros, magical creatures hailing from the frozen Freljord, Braum's home region.
Braum's little friends are ready to help out in any way they can, whether it's flying through the air to stop fleeing enemies or banding together to form a giant ball of fluff that deals tons of damage.
