Earlier today, Nic covered Steam Families Full Releasea feature that makes it easier for families to share a library of games and for parents to manage children's purchases and playtime in the digital store. It's a nice improvement over the previous system.
Sadly, I can't think of anything other than the Steam Families logo, which appears in the image above and is clearly a shocked, possibly horrified face. Or so I thought at first. The more I look at it, the more it seems to reveal.
I mean, you see it too, right?
I mentioned this at the RPS Treehouse and everyone on the team saw something different. Ollie didn't see a mustache but a trickle of tears running down his face. “I haven't seen much Evangelion, but I feel like this is a kid sitting in the cockpit of a robot that's also a horrible chimera of his parents,” Nic commented.
I looked again and… wait… it's a crab juggling.

I asked Edwin and he told me he sees Sam Fisher, hanging upside down, with three bright green lights waiting to strike.
Every graphic designer knows that logos need to be carefully studied before they are published. First, does it accidentally contain a swastika? Second, can it easily be turned into genitals? Check it thoroughly. Notice all the negative space. Then check it again. I think the Steam Families logo has successfully avoided these problems.
However, it is clearly a rorschach testTake a closer look at this idyllic family. What do you see?
