Constellr expands its European presence with a branch in Toulouse

Ibadan, 23rd September 2024. – constellr has established its French operations in Toulouse, aiming to benefit from the numerous growth, R&D and commercial collaboration opportunities offered by the region.

As Constellr prepares to launch its first commercial satellite Skybee-1 (HiVE), it is also preparing to expand its product portfolio and data science capabilities. As a result, France offers not only access to a diversified supply chain to enable future innovation in space infrastructure, but also an exceptional talent base with which to drive the development of cutting-edge Earth observation products for the company.

Additionally, setting up operations in France means that constellr can accelerate its product roadmap, offering high-resolution thermal data to improve decision-making for customers in the agricultural and infrastructure sectors. Accordingly, the Big EO company has formed partnerships with French research organisations in Toulouse to accelerate knowledge transfer and support with data validation.

In line with its objectives in the French region, constellr is also currently recruiting a Managing Director, based in Toulouse, to lead its commercial and government relations in France. The company is also supporting doctoral research through France’s Cifre programme and working with regional educational institutions to help nurture and attract top talent essential to establishing the company’s product R&D base in the region.
