Everyone here at Pugstorm is very excited for Xbox Game Pass players to start playing Guardian of the Core on day one and explore the game's enchanting underground world together in 2-8 player online co-op mode, or as single-player adventurers.

Digging deeper into Core Keeper
Guardian of the Core is a sandbox mining adventure where players are teleported to an ancient underground world filled with unusual creatures, mysterious biomes, and hidden secrets. As an explorer, you'll need to collect resources to build your base, craft new tools, and upgrade your skills as you embark on a quest to power a mysterious relic known as “The Core.”
There’s mining (of course), crafting, fishing, farming, pets, vehicles, skill trees, relics, resources, and plenty of bosses waiting to be defeated. Oh, and did we mention the beautiful music, decorative items, cosmetics, and customizations waiting to be discovered?
Build, create and be creative
When you start your adventure in Guardian of the CoreYou'll wake up as an explorer in a mysterious cavern filled with treasures, trinkets, and secrets. From here, it's up to you how you play! Craft tools and weapons to help you delve deeper underground. Explore Guardian of the CoreDynamic, ever-evolving biomes. Build and decorate bases with a variety of different materials and customizations, whether you want to create convenient stops on the map or cozy cabins to live in. Or jump into creative mode to build the base of your dreams, where the only limit is your imagination!
Explore alone or as a team with friends
Explore the underground at your own pace or team up with friends for the ultimate eight-player adventure. You’ll have the option to create your own custom character every time you start a game, and you can choose from a variety of different backgrounds to give you an edge when you start. From the humble explorer to the bold fighter, the green thumb gardener, and more.
Hone your skills, level up, and unlock talents that will make life underground a whole lot easier. Will you and your friends carefully choose your backgrounds and skills to create a perfectly optimized team, or will you band together as a group of gardeners because the plants are beautiful?
Farm, fish and raise pets
Survival is the name of the game in Guardian of the Coreso you'll need to keep an eye out for resources like food and avoid getting attacked by a horde of angry Cavelings (you'll know them when you see them). Luckily, there are plenty of crops to grow, fish to catch, and recipes to discover by combining them in the pot. Not only does food improve your health, but most recipes give you useful buffs to help you in combat.
Fight against big bosses
On your journey through the underground, you will encounter several legendary Titans who hold the secret to… Guardian of the CoreThe Forgotten World of 's. With multiple Titans to face and a variety of monsters and mini-bosses to discover, be sure to plan your strategy and craft powerful loot to help you conquer these colossal creatures!
