It looks like we might finally see DDR5 versions of G.SKILL's popular Trident Z5 Royal memory. The Trident Z Royal DDR4 memory was G.SKILL's flagship memory and became extremely popular for its luxurious appearance. Last year at Computex, G.SKILL showed off the Trident Z5 Royal DDR5 memory, but interestingly, it was never released. This is most likely because DDR5, especially high-frequency DDR5, was not as popular as it is today.
G.SKILL has just released a new teaser video for the Trident Z5 Royal DDR5 memory, so we can assume it will be arriving soon. Like the previous version of the memory, it will come in two different colors, gold and silver. Both will have a mirror-like finish and of course will have the RGB LED diffuser on top that resembles a cluster of gemstones.
We can expect this memory to be available in high capacities (probably 48 GB, 64 GB and 96 GB), as well as high frequencies up to 8000 MHz. Let's hope they finally come out! I would expect G.SKILL to show them at Computex in a couple of weeks! You can watch the teaser video below.
