Voyager 1 has resumed sending scientific data. In a surprising recovery, the mission's science team has managed to revive two of the iconic spaceships four scientific instruments for the first time since a computer problem arose with Voyager 1 in November 2023. The team hopes to be able to recalibrate the two remaining instruments in the coming weeks, which could restore the spacecraft, which launched in 1977, to its normal operations. Starship's first commercial customer pulled out. Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa announced the cancellation of his “dearMoon” mission, which would have taken him and eight artists around the Moon in SpaceX's Starship vehicle. Maezawa cited continuing delays in Starship launch availability as the reason he had to cancel the mission.
