Marvel Superheroes Fight Bloodthirsty Xenomorphs on New 'Alien' Variant Covers

We'll soon get a taste of the unique kind of horrors to come in Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribić's “Aliens vs. Avengers” crossover miniseries, premiering in August.

Wonderful has unleashed the evil extraterrestrial creatures of the “Alien” franchise in five variant covers, which will be released weekly in July and August.

Not only is this an explosion of “Alien”-related Marvel offerings to heat up the summer, but it also coincides with the arrival of director Fede Álvarez's film.Alien: Romulus” on August 16, 2024, which is the first “Alien” feature film since “Alien: Covenant” hit theaters in 2017.

Are Phoenix, Spider-Man, Moon Knight, Deadpool and She-Hulk powerful enough to take on hordes of the galaxy's perfect organism single-handedly? ?

The first in the “Marvel vs Alien” variant cover series is Greg Land's “Deadpool #4” on July 3. It will be followed by Tony Daniel's “The Amazing Spider-Man #53” on July 10, Erica D'Urso's “Phoenix #1” on July 17, and Stephen Segovia's “Vengeance of the Moon Knight #7” on July 24. . Rounding out the set is “Sensational She-Hulk #10,” created by Joshua Cassara, out August 14. .

It's inspiring to see how easily HR Giger's biomechanical killing machines first emerged in Ridley Scott's “Alien” fit so perfectly into the Marvel universe, and it will be fascinating to see what other crossovers and showdowns we might see in the future, not only in the comics. books, but in feature films, related novels and video games.
