MSI Claw: BIOS update improves performance!

On the portable console front, MSI has released a new BIOS update for its Claw. It is clear that this update is beneficial, as the console's performance has been improved by up to 30%. As a result, it outperforms the ROG Ally Z1.

Claw: BIOS update, more performance!

This new BIOS update, 109, along with an update to MSI Center M, significantly improves the console's gaming performance. In fact, the brand announces profits of up to 30%. These gains are particularly notable in titles like Fortnite, Forza Horizon 5 and Helldiver 2, which did not exceed 60 FPS (depending on MSI settings) and now average 87.3 FPS, 77.5 FPS and 62.8 FPS respectively.

However, these gains also allow the console to power the ROG Ally, the version with a non-extreme Ryzen Z1. In games like Valheim or Euro Truck Simulator 2, the ASUS console is the PLS. This allows MSI to claim that its machine outperforms its competitor's console by approximately 26%.

As a reminder, MSI's Claw is a console that is already available on the market. It is currently available in two versions, one with Core Ultra 5 and the other with Ultra 7. However, the smaller model is preferable as there is little difference in the performance of the integrated iGPU.
