After implementing the July Update Just a few days ago, Google is now bringing the monthly software update to the Pixel Watch with Android 14.

The July update includes bug fixes and improvements. According to the changelog, general improvements to camera stability can be seen “under certain conditions” on devices including Pixel 5a (5G), Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet.
Similarly, the flagship Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro The models show general improvements to system stability and performance in certain conditions. Lastly, a UI bug fix is coming to Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel 8a, which addresses an issue with back gesture navigation not working in certain situations.
The system update that carries the AP2A.240705.004 The version will be released globally for the Pixel 5a (5G) and Pixel Fold models. The other firmware, AP2A.240705.005is exclusive to the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel 8a models. The same Telus carrier phones will receive the AP2A.240705.005.A1 Firmware.

Until then, to avoid the problem, Google recommends leaving the device untouched for at least 15 minutes after a system update. After this, users can factory reset their devices or alternatively reset them before performing the final system update.
The update began rolling out on Tuesday (July 3) and should be available to the aforementioned Pixel owners in the coming weeks. It will happen in phases and will depend on the carrier and device.
