While AMD announced The postponement of the Ryzen 9000 Two weeks later, it launched the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375, a mobile processor with a next-generation NPU. It combines the Zen 5 and Zen 5C architectures, an “Intel-style” hybrid solution.
Ryzen AI 9 HX 375: the CPU AMD launches it!
The program includes a CPU With a total of 12 cores and 24 threads, however, here we have a mix of performance cores with four Zen 5 cores and efficiency cores with eight Zen 5C cores. In terms of cache, this model has 24MB of L3 compared to 12MB of L2.
Next generation also means artificial intelligence, and this model is equipped with a new NPU. This NPU boasts a performance of up to 55 TOPS, making it ready for Microsoft Co-pilot + Certification . In total, the processor delivers 85 TOPS AI performance.
As far as frequencies are concerned, this model will run at 2.1 GHz with a increase which can reach up to 5.1 GHz. All this means that the TDP is configurable from 15 to 54W.
Finally, there is a GPU ia RADEON 890M. This graphics unit uses the RDNA 3.5 architecture and has 16 computing unitsequivalent to 1024 stream processors and will operate up to 2900 MHz.
