The iPad Pro M4: an incredible PC with AI – Computerworld

Add in the Apple Pencil Pro at a surprisingly low $129 and the Magic Keyboard at $299 and the combined system I've been testing costs $2,327, just $71 less than the top-end 14-inch model. MacBook Pro with M3 Pro chip.

Price isn't the only consideration, of course. You don't necessarily need to get nanotexture, unless you need solid color accuracy. You may not want 1TB of storage. You may not even need your phone, stylus, or Magic Keyboard. The base configuration will set you back $999, and frankly, from what I've seen, you're still getting a lot at that price. (If you're worried about price, the also-new iPad Air might be just what you need. I can't say, since I haven't seen that model yet since I broke my own iPad on that flight.)

For whom is this?

Apple's diverse range of iPads now has something for every price point. The iPad Pro is for aspirational Apple fans, high-level mobile creatives, critical workers in some industries, designers, filmmakers, possibly data analysts, IT administrators, and (as always) high-level executives who get it all.
