Nothing Phone 2 receives June security patch update with bug fixes

Nothing has announced a new phased firmware release for its flagship Phone 2 this week, including new features as well as improvements and bug fixes.

The update, called Nada OS 2.5.6comes just after the release of OS 2.5.5 in April, bringing ChatGPT Integration toward Phone 2. It also added talk functionality to the recent Ear and “Ear a” headphones. However, the latest firmware includes nifty new features, such as a new option in Settings that allows users to hide or show the navigation bar.

in a community postNothing explains the features, such as adding a custom option that allows users to enable or disable the swipe action required to access the Quick Settings panel from the top of the lock screen. Additionally, the status bar icons can now be customized with new options that can be accessed through display settings on the Phone 2. Google's latest June security patch is the other notable thing added with the new update.
